This quickstart follows one complete path through Darpan — environment selection, setup confirmation, execution, and result review. It’s the fastest way to understand how the pieces connect: you’ll touch every major surface once. Most steps are navigation and confirmation; the part that matters is the run setup, which this path walks through in full. If you need to run Darpan on a local computer for development, start with Set up Darpan independently before this product quickstart.
1

Open the right environment

Start in the environment assigned for your team, customer, or test scenario.Hosted and local targets are listed in Environments.
2

Open Darpan and sign in with the credentials provided for your company or test environment. If login fails, start with login and session troubleshooting.
3

Use the Dashboard as the work queue

Darpan opens the Dashboard after login. Treat it as the work queue for saved reconciliation runs.
  • Pinned Runs shows the reconciliation runs you want quickest access to.
  • Other Runs shows saved runs available in the active company.
  • Create Run starts new run setup.
The Dashboard works best when the run is already known. Ask Darpan is faster for jumping to setup, execution, or results.
4

Open Ask Darpan

Ask Darpan is the search-first navigation surface.
  • Press Cmd/Ctrl+K.
  • Or click the floating Ask Darpan button.
  • Type the page, workflow, record, run, or output you want.
  • Use Up/Down to select a result and Enter to open it.
5

Confirm reusable setup

Create or confirm the records the run will reuse. Search for the official setup surface you need: Open SFTP Servers, Open NetSuite Settings, Open Shopify Settings, Open HotWax Settings, Open Tenant Settings, Create Schema, or Open Schema Library.
  • SFTP for file exchange
  • NetSuite, Shopify, and HotWax for source-system integration flows
  • AI provider settings through a Darpan admin (the DARPAN_ADMIN group) when schema generation or assisted mapping is enabled
  • Schemas that describe source files or records
6

Create or update the run setup

Search for Create Reconciliation Flow when the reconciliation run is new. Search for Open Runs Settings when an existing saved run needs a name, source, schema, key, or rule change.Keep the run name stable and specific so it identifies the comparison in history and generated output.
7

Run reconciliation

Search for Run Reconciliation. Start the run, provide the requested source files or connection-backed records, and wait for generated output.
8

Review results

Search by run name or output file name, then open Open Result: …. Review the differences and classify each one as source data, schema selection, rule behavior, or expected business variance.

Tenant Admin quickstart

Manage one tenant’s settings, setup records, runs, and automation.

Set up automation

Schedule or manually trigger a saved reconciliation run.

Troubleshooting
